Green Manufacturing Conference

I will have the pleasure of leading a panel discussion on sustainability requirements at the upcoming Green Manufacturing Conference, held in Rosemont, Illinois from September 22 through 24, 2009.

There are increasing demands on suppliers to comply to sustainability standards and present customers with innovations around sustainability. In this session, participants will have an opportunity to learn about the emerging manufacturing and retail sustainability standards, including the Walmart Sustainability Index, and learn how to respond to these drivers—gaining competitive advantage and decreasing costs. Join me and my colleagues from PepsiCo, Nissan, Pangea Organics, and PortionPac Chemical Corp. on Tuesday, September 22. To find out more about my session and to register, please visit http://www.devicelink.com/expo/gmx09/ros_conference_100.html or visit www.GreenMfgExpo.com to view the entire conference schedule.

Climate Protection is Profitable

Monday, April 27th
at The Boulder Outlook Hotel
Crown Rock Room
Hors d'oeuvres and Cash bar at 6 pm
Program starts at 7 pm

Climate Denial is expensive. Climate Protection is profitable.

The business case for protecting the climate is clear. Companies, communities and countries that cut their carbon emissions will make more money, cut their risks, enhance their brand and gain competitive advantage. Join Hunter Lovins, Jeff Hohensee, Paul Sheldon and Catherine Greener as they present the business case for climate protection. This will be a highly interactive forum offering Plan Boulder County forum attendees the opportunity to identify comparative risks and benefits of rapid implementation of climate protection measures.

In demand as a speaker and consultant globally, she has addressed the World Economic Forum, the World Summit on Sustainable Development, and hundreds of major conferences. Hunter helps citizens, communities and companies work together within the market context to solve the challenges facing the planet.
